Stripes= classic

For many reasons my obsession for stripes, I could say, is strong but perhaps the main reason is that stripes could be timeless like seen in these images below. A bathroom featured in 1995 by Elle Decor that still looks up-to-date and a photograph of Audrey Hepburn lounging at her home on a striped couch are two great models of its classic influence.

    New website DONE
    New collaboration DONE
    and at last a post telling everyone who I have been collaborating with. If you have a nosey gene, as I have, then pop over and see.

    I love stripes! I'm currently looking for the perfect striped silk for two of my Louis XVI-style chairs.

    I am stripe-obsessed! Always have been! I think they bring symmetry, simplicity and order to a room.

    Love that tablecloth—and of course anything with Audrey placed so sweetly on top makes it 100x cuter 😉

    I bought 4 yards of a thick b/w fabric (identical to the table cloth) at Ikea for $5/yard! I don't even know what to do with it yet – but clearly I want some stripes somewhere in my own home!

    Happy 4th weekend to you and your family, dear Julie.

    A warm hug, Mon
