“A man who was completely innocent, offered himself as a sacrifice for
the good of others, including his enemies, and became the ransom of the
world. It was a perfect act.”

leather skirt roundup

I should be thinking about delicate pastel-colored eggs after all we are one night away from Easter, but no!  I’m thinking not only about getting myself a pair of slouchy leather trousers but also a leather skirt.  A full body one for more specification.  I know that somewhere on the surface of the earth Spring is blossoming, but here Fall is around the corner and I’m really looking forward to wearing thicker clothes.  Hence this cute leather skirt roundup.

Now, isn’t this outfit worn by Barbara Martelo a perfect attire?  Givenchy “it” boots, leather mini skirt and a peplum top.

Ramon Garcia Jurado, living room via belle vivir blog
I have that same diamond cube cocktail table in black.
Last night while perusing Pinterest I came across this living room above.  The entire home was featured in Nuevo Estilo and since I’m always looking for inspiring interiors from the very popular magazine I couldn’t believe I never came across its designer and owner Ramon Garcia Jurado.   More so when the style of the apartment is like those I consider global chic.  It has pretty much the things you would find in an avid traveler’s house, architectural items to enhance the more simple interior architecture with a mixture of neoclassical furniture, modern pieces and exotic accessories.  A great mixture of classic furniture and modern pieces.  Enjoy!

I love to imagine perfect scenarios, as you could have noticed.  In this case I think I would like it more if politicians or activists would make the cover of Vogue rather than celebrities.  For example one month Al Gore with ‘An Inconvenient Truth’, It’s happening people, climate change is really happening look or better said “feel around you”.  I love the first lady, Michelle Obama on the cover of the April issue of Vogue “Inspiring America”.  And she really is an inspiration to every woman.  A woman of great values and a very steady sense of family values who knows first-hand that women can and should be both, advocates for what we believe in and equally stylish.  And talking about that new hair makeover, she looks amazing.  Enjoy! I approve this hair makeover.

In fashion I’m always drawn to the styles that make me look and keep younger and the sporty-chic look doesn’t only do that, but is also effortlessly-chic.  I don’t like to get too dress up for daily life cos’ I find it not inspiring.  Anyone can dress up and look good but not everyone can practically dress down and still look chic.  My sense of style has changed like weather from season to season and I’m happy about that.  Before I would never have thought of wearing a baseball cap, now I find myself a bit obsessed with it, wearing it almost everyday lately and it’s amazing who young and active it makes me feel.  Stay young and enjoy!

Gilded structure by James Lee Byars
Our weekend will be replete of children’s activity.  Amazing how our lives change after them.   It’s all about them, first and for most.  An International festival on Saturday and egg hunting on Sunday.   I hope you get to do a lot of interesting things yourself and most importantly be happy!
